PROJECT OVERVIEW
"the simplified complications of overthinking" is a colorful collection of 25 poems and thoughts, completed with collages, photos and illustrations.
A mix of analog photography and hand-drawn elements and collages accompany the poems, to evoke the familiarity of memories and ensure a personal feel to the book. The concept was to create a vibrant, sketch-like representation of a mind mid-thought-whirlwind.
Paired with a sans serif font, the book’s design follows through on the title of the collection – simplifying the chaos of overthinking, while letting the sheer mass of ideas shine through in the imagery.
